hi, i am selling my upgrade mobile phone which is brand new from t-mobile.
i have it listed for sale online, as being locked to t-mobile.
a few replies i have had have said that i “have” to get it unlocked before they will buy it.
i have never sold my phone before so dont actually know if it is my responsibility to get it unlocked before sale?
or is it a case of i made my advert perfectly clear that it is locked, and if the buyer wants it he will have to unlock it?
how do i do this?
i just called t-mobile and they told me they would charge me £25 to unlock it, so am i ok to higher to price of the phone any?
how much should i ask for a brand new nokia 6600 slide? im currently asking £80 because its on play.com for £130.

If the phone was unlocked, it can be used on any company’s network that use the same technology. If it it locked, it can only be used on t-mobile network.
The buyer can just as easily get this done as you can.
