Nokia Phone User Guide

Nokia 5530 messaging?

Please can someone tell me how to set this phone up to send and receive messages. If a picture is sent to it from another phone it is always waiting & never delivered & if one is sent from it a message says close active applications. The user guide is of no help at all. I should add that I am a pensioner & do have to struggle with technology but usually get there – however, not in this case!

Who is your carrier?with tmobile, customer support can send a signal to the phone if you ask them too. Also,if you have to make sure your plan inludes the MMS feature. Its different than just SMS. They usually charge extra for it too. But if your not paying for it,your phone will do exactly as your describing because its trying and the network won’t let it go through. Hope this helps.
