Unblocking Nokia Phone

I bought a phone off Ebay Legally but its getting blocked by the network. What can do to stop it? Please help!?

I have called & visited the network but they don’t do anything! I have tried to make contact with original owner but he doesn’t email back! I bought this phone Legally! The netwrok doesn’t unblock it! The Phone is a Nokia N95 8GB. Please help me!! How do i unblock it legally?

Your question doesn’t make sense to me if you live in in North America. The N95 is a GSM phone, how could it be blocked? Do you live in the UK or some other European country where they blacklist GSM phones? If that’s the case, you should resell it on eBay to an American customer and buy yourself another one. Check the IMEI with your service provider before you purchase it.

EDIT: So you are from the UK. Okay, that’s tough luck because there’s nothing that you can do. That phone was reported as lost or stolen. In the US there is no GSM blacklist. Sell the phone to someone in North America and if you’re lucky you will get enough for it to buy another phone.
